Daniel founded The Downing Street Group in 1986. Daniel oversees the overall acquisition, asset management and disposition of real estate over a number of investment platforms.
Daniel led The Downing Street Group’s ownership, management and disposition of its portfolio of downtown Toronto high-rise office buildings, industrial buildings, shopping centres, and apartment buildings totalling approximately 3.5 million square feet. Daniel has led a number of successful joint ventures with both institutional and private partners over the years.
Daniel holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
Marc joined The Downing Street Group in 2011. Marc oversees the mortgage and equity lending businesses, the raising of capital for The Downing Street Group’s various debt and equity platforms, investor relations and the management of the firm’s operations.
Marc has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry working extensively in both Asia and Canada. Marc joined The Downing Street Group after working in Asia for five years. He worked for an international real estate advisory firm based in Shanghai for four years, followed by a year based in Singapore. Prior to living and working in Asia, Marc worked as a commercial realtor in Toronto with a well-known real estate firm.
Marc holds an Honours BA in Geography (Urban Development) from the University of Western Ontario. He is licensed as an Exempt Market Chief Compliance Officer and Dealing Representative, by FSRA as a mortgage broker and by RECO as a realtor.
Anthony joined The Downing Street Group in 1987 and was involved in asset management, leasing and the development of the firm’s real estate holdings. Before joining The Downing Street Group, Anthony was a founding shareholder of a successful real estate development company whose major shareholder was a large Canadian life insurance company. He developed a property portfolio, valued in excess of $500 million, consisting of commercial, industrial and residential real estate. The developments included substantial office buildings, such as the Hong Kong Bank of Canada’s prestigious 442,000 square foot head office in Vancouver.
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science (BSC) degree from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
